To users invited to experiment with the limitations of Hyundai support.
Data retrieval latency: Average 9 seconds (Range 0 - 122)
Command latency: Average 31 seconds (Range 15-80)
The following are limitations put in place by Hyundai:
20 commands in a rolling 24 hour window (fetching data, or issuing a command)
To mitigate these limitations, we cache data returned from the vehicle for 1 hour and 12 minutes every time a request is made.
This has the effect of an experience that feels like the App is not seeing the correct current state of the vehicle, but will eventually catch-up.
