What Are BluPoints?

BluPoints are our way of scoring points for participating in helping the grid, doing things like supporting demand-response initiatives, practicing intelligent EV charging when there are high renewables on the grid, adopting other sustainable behaviors through the app, or even just awareness of whats going on in the grid.

BluWave-ai analyzes grid conditions (renewable energy production, energy peak demand) and represents it as a BluScore. Charging a vehicle when BluScore is low will score less points than charging when BluScore is high.

Have an electric vehicle that we don't support connecting to yet? You can participate by manually entering in your charging sessions!

Don't have an electric vehicle? You can still participate by keeping tabs on BluScore and see if that's useful in your electric behaviours!
